CINCINNATI (WXIX) – American Airlines announced Tuesday that it is adding additional flights to Chicago out of Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.
The company said that, beginning in February, it is adding up to three new daily flights from CVG to Chicago O’Hare International Airport, for a peak of seven daily departures to the Windy City.
“Chicago is one of the nation’s largest cities and a key hub for both business and tourism, welcoming travelers from around the world for economic opportunities to experience its diverse culture, lakefront beaches and top-notch architecture and museums,” Franco Tedeschi, vice president of domestic airports, said in a statement.
The added flights from CVG are part of American Airlines’ expansion to the city, creating more than 500 flights to Chicago nationwide.
