A 15-year-old boy was clinging to life Wednesday after he was found shot in the head in the lobby of a Brooklyn apartment building, police said.
Cops were trying to find the shooter in the puzzling case, which occurred inside NYCHA’s Albany Houses on Bergen St. near Troy Ave. in Crown Heights around 4 a.m. Tuesday.
The teen was found shot in the head in the building lobby by a friend, who took him to an 11th-floor apartment before calling 911, police sources said.
EMS rushed the victim to Kings County Hospital, where he remained in critical condition on Wednesday.
No arrests have been made.
The investigation hit a curve as detectives found no blood trail or ballistic evidence to confirm reports that the teen was shot inside the lobby, a police source with knowledge of the case said.
Cops were scouring the area looking for video that could help them identify the shooter and learn more about how the shooting took place.
