SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Spurs (23-9) will host the New York Knicks (23-9). The Spurs are on a 2-game losing skid and lost to the Knicks in the 2025 NBA Cup Finals.

The Spurs lost at home to the Cavaliers 113-101. Victor Wembanyama led the team with 26 points and 12 rebounds.

Luke Kornet had 10 points and nine rebounds. Dylan Harper scored 11, while Keldon Johnson recorded eight points and nine rebounds off the bench. Harrison Barnes added three points. Stephon Castle had 15 points and three assists. Devin Vassell added seven off 3-of-10 shooting, and De’Aaron Fox finished with 14 off 4-of-13 shooting.

“Cleveland gets an immense amount of credit for their game plan, their execution, and their defense in general. It felt like an unnecessary feeling of desperation at times tonight,” said Mitch Johnson. “And I think there are probably a few different sources of that, some of it’s motivation, some is trying to make a play. Some are trying to be aggressive. Some of it is trying to extend a lead, cut a lead where you can’t get six-point plays.”
