LOS ANGELES (KABC) — L.A. Metro is offering free rides in hopes of keeping revelers safe during New Year’s Eve celebrations.
L.A. Metro is offering free rides on New Year’s Eve. The agency does it every year to encourage Angelenos to celebrate responsibly and sustainably.
Rides across L.A. Metro’s entire system remain free of charge until 3 a.m. Thursday.
Fare gates at all Metro rail stations are unlatched and buses are not collecting fares, which means your TAP card won’t be charged.
The agency will also provide extended 24-hour service for lines A, B, D and E.
Lines C and K will run until 2 a.m.
