Toronto police are searching for a man who allegedly assaulted vulnerable adults at a group home over a month-long period.
At around 9 a.m. on Dec. 10, police were called to the area of Sibley and Detonia Park avenues for reports of an assault.
The accused was employed as a caregiver, police say, and allegedly committed “a series of assaults” throughout November this year on residents of the group home.
Officials did not say how many victims there were or what kinds of physical injuries, if any, they sustained.
In a news release issued Wednesday, police identified Toronto resident Oghenemaro Dave Ejerua, 38, as the suspect in their investigation, adding that he is wanted on seven counts of assault.
Officials describe Ejerua as five feet eight inches tall with a medium build, black curly hair and black facial hair.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
