First Daughter Ivanka Trump posted several photos on her Instagram showing off her family and father, President Donald Trump, but many have called her out and slammed her for “nepotism.”
The 43-year-old took to Instagram on Wednesday night to give her 8.4 million followers a glimpse into how she and her family toasted her husband Jared Kushner’s father, Charles, who was sworn in as the U.S. Ambassador to France and Monaco.
The mother-of-three shared a handful of snaps, with the first being of her, Jared, and their three kids posing with the president and Charles in the Oval Office. Others showed Trump with the Kushner family, Charles being sworn in, Ivanka posing with her daughter, Arabella Rose, 13, and Charles standing next to the president.

Ivanka wowed in an elegant red two-piece suit, consisting of a short-sleeved blazer and a fitted maxi skirt. The top half of the businesswoman’s look allowed her to show off her tiny waist thanks to a dainty belt.

Completing her look, Ivanka added a black handbag and strappy heels. Her blonde hair was styled into a soft curl that flowed around her shoulders and she also rocked a full face of makeup consisting of bronzed cheekbones, a smoky eye, and glossy nude lips.
“A special day with the people we love!” Ivanka began in her caption. She added: “Today, surrounded by family, Charles Kushner was sworn in as the U.S. Ambassador to France and Monaco by @potus and Secretary of State @marcorubio. Congratulations, Ambassador Charles Kushner!”
Ivanka had tons of fans commenting love heart emojis as well as compliments on her pictures. One user commented, “Mazal tov! What a profound experience for the kids! B’hatzlacha to our new Ambassador,” as another penned: “Beautiful family. Congratulations Mr. Kushner.”
Seemingly slamming previous backlash, a third user pointed out, “People can say what they will, but proof is always in the pudding. All of Trump’s kids are classy, smart, successful, and well rounded.”
“Beautiful family inside and out,” echoed a fourth person, while a fifth said, “Beautiful family. Thank you for having to courage to stand up for America.”
However, others couldn’t help but comment on the nepotism of the moment, as the father of the president’s son-in-law was being promoted. One person wrote, “Nepotism much??” as another simply added, “Nepotism.”
A third said, “Ambassador positions always are, no matter the president,” as a fourth penned, “Why?! What are his qualifications. Favors?! $?! nepotism?! Insanity.”

Yet another said, “Nepotism remains alive and kicking in the Trump Whitehouse! What an authoritarian dystopia!”
However, there were some who defended the family, with one writing, “no. It’s call families that are close… Nepotism has no place in Trump’s administration…the previous administration definitely.” Another questioned, “what they’re taking a pic not working there.”
The new post comes just a few days after Ivanka paid a tribute to the father figures in her life, which of course included her husband and her own dad, President Trump.
“Happy Father’s Day,” Ivanka wrote alongside several snaps of her family. “Today, I honor two incredible fathers who have shaped my world in profound ways.
“To my father @realdonaldtrump — your unwavering determination, boundless vision, and deep love for family have been a guiding force in my life. You taught me to dream boldly, work relentlessly, and never give up,” she added.
“To my husband @jaredckushner — watching you father our children with patience, strength, wisdom and so much heart fills me with endless gratitude. You are their rock, their compass, and their greatest gift.
“Thank you both for the love, laughter, and legacy you create each day. Our family is deeply blessed,” Ivanka concluded.
