A 37-year-old man has been identified as one of the three victims in crashes on North Central Expressway on New Year’s Eve in Dallas.
There were two separate crashes, one in the northbound lanes and the other in the southbound lanes, that occurred just minutes apart.
The first incident happened around 5:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes of U.S. Highway 75 near the Interstate 635 interchange.
Dallas police responded to the incident. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a person lying in the roadway. The victim — identified by the Dallas County medical examiner’s office as Areeb Zamir — died at the scene.
