PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Authorities are asking the public for help identifying the suspect responsible for stabbing a man to death in downtown Phoenix several weeks ago.
On Dec. 15, just after 10 p.m., Phoenix police were called to investigate reports of an unresponsive man near Hance Park, located off of Interstate 10 and Central Avenue. Officers arrived and found Jaquail Dillard, 29, unresponsive and stabbed at least once.
Phoenix firefighters quickly attempted life-saving measures, but Dillard was pronounced dead on scene.
Authorities are continuing to investigate what led up to Dillard’s death and identify any possible suspects. Any information about the deadly crime can be reported anonymously to Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS (948-6377) or 480-TESTIGO for Spanish speakers. The public can also submit a tip online.
