PHILADELPHIA (WFMZ) – The windy conditions in Philadelphia on Thursday threw a bit of a wrench into the Mummers Parade.

The “string band” portion of the parade had to be modified.

The bands still performed, but did it without the typical props.

Some of the props were damaged by the wind gusts.

Four people were hurt Thursday morning at the parade. Two drove themselves to hospitals.

But we are told everyone is out of the hospital and is doing fine.

The Mummers Parade, for the fourth straight year, was seen right here on WFMZ-TV.
