The Seahawks elevated running back Cam Akers and cornerback Tyler Hall from the practice squad ahead of Saturday night’s game against the 49ers.

This is the third straight elevation for Akers, who gives the Seahawks a third running back behind Kenneth Walker III and Zach Charbonnet. Akers, a former second-round pick of the Rams in 2020, has appeared on special teams in each of Seattle’s past two games, including taking over kick return duty in last week’s win at Carolina, returning two kicks for 54 yards after Rashid Shaheed was sidelined by a concussion.

Hall, who has spent time on Seattle’s practice squad in each of the past two seasons, will be making his Seahawks debut if he plays on Saturday. Hall has appeared in 31 games with six starts since coming into the league as an undrafted free agent in 2020, most recently playing 11 games with three starts for the Raiders in 2023.
