Firefighters arrived at a one-story house fire on the 2300 block of Willow Lake Drive around 8 a.m. Saturday, District Chief Robert Ross said.

Ross said that when firefighters got there, they saw heavy smoke coming from the home as flames spread through the building.

Firefighters started fighting the fire from the front of the house and brought it under control in about 20 minutes, according to Ross.

While searching the property, firefighters said they found a man who had died inside.

Ross said investigators are looking into the cause of the fire, where it started, and how it began.
