JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Ole Miss fans searching for ways to travel and watch the Rebels take on the University of Miami Hurricanes now have a new option.
Southwest Airlines is offering direct flights between the Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport leading up to the Fiesta Bowl.
According to Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport, the first flight is already sold out.
3 On Your Side went on Southwest’s website and found two direct flights. Both are Wednesday, the day before the game.
Only Choice Preferred seats are available on the second flight. Most flights with connections that day have also mostly sold out.
The Ole Miss Rebels and the Miami Hurricanes will face each other in the Fiesta Bowl on Jan. 8, with kickoff scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CST.
