Pat Green, a Fort Worth-based country singer, shared on social media that his family “suffered a heartbreaking and deeply personal loss” during the recent catastrophic flooding in the Texas Hill Country.

In a separate post, Green’s wife, Lori, said the musician’s brother, John, remains missing, along with his wife, Julia, and two children.

“Right now, we kindly ask for privacy and space as we mourn, support each other, and begin to process what comes next for our family,” Pat Green wrote in his post.

Green is scheduled to perform at Billy Bob’s in Fort Worth on Aug. 15. It’s unclear if the show will be canceled.

Fellow Texan Robert Earl Keen, a longtime resident of Kerrville, is arranging a benefit concert for the storm-battered region.

The death toll in the Hill Country continues to climb. As of Tuesday, 100 people have been confirmed dead, mounting grief across the state and nationwide.

Some victims were from the Dallas area, including Lila Bonner and Eloise Peck. The young girls were attending Camp Mystic, located near the Guadalupe River, at the time of the deluge.

Families recently gathered in front of Bradfield Elementary School in Highland Park to honor the lives of Lila and Eloise with green, pink and purple ribbons adorning nearby trees.
