SAN ANTONIO – The Spurs fell 115–110 to the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday night, unable to overcome a strong second-half push by Portland.

The Trail Blazers jumped out to a 35–24 lead after the first quarter and held off a late Spurs rally. San Antonio outscored Portland 30–28 in the fourth quarter but couldn’t close the five-point gap down the stretch.

Luke Kornet led the Spurs with 23 points and eight rebounds, while Julian Champagnie added 20 points and 10 boards. De’Aaron Fox finished with 19 points and four assists, and Stephon Castle chipped in 16 points and nine assists in the loss.
