It was an eventful end to 2025 for Saturday Night Live.
The historic late-night series bid farewell to fan favorite Bowen Yang, who exited the series after the Ariana Grande-led episode on December 20. The prolific performer joined the long-running comedy staple as a writer in 2018, before being promoted to a featured player in 2019 and the main cast in 2021. Bowen, Grande, and musical guest Cher sang “Please Come Home for Christmas” during his final SNL sketch as a cast member (“Delta Lounge”).
