Happy New Year, golfers! Well, maybe not.
Havana golf course is now designated as a Tier 1 course which means you will pay more because it is Tier 1. If I am paying more then I expect more. It took us 4 hours and 45 minutes to play Friday afternoon.
No, we weren’t the slow ones. Many times there were 2 to 3 foursomes on many holes.
When we asked what the problem was we were told that a group in the morning wave held everything up. So have the Ambassador enforce the time limit! We were also told that once Kilimanjaro was open things would speed up. What? Nine holes is 9 holes and the scorecard says expected time of play is 2:08 per 9 holes or 4:16 for 18 holes. Thirty minutes of additional playing time may not sound like much to non-golfers but I think most golfers will agree how frustrating this is. Pay more play slow.
