The lineup for the fourth Avengers: Doomsday teaser has possibly been revealed. New reports point to the return of a powerful character alongside a mix of familiar and unexpected figures. While the reported teaser avoids focusing on the film’s central villain, it seemingly sets the stage for a unique combination of forces ahead of the movie’s release.

Namor rumored to return in fourth Avengers: Doomsday teaser

Prominent scooper @MyTimeToShineHello on X (formerly Twitter) reported that Namor will return in the fourth teaser for Avengers: Doomsday.

The post states, “The 4th Avengers Doomsday teaser has Shuri, M’baku, Namor and Ben Grimm,” suggesting the Sub-Mariner’s presence alongside Wakandan leaders and a member of the Fantastic Four. The teaser follows three previous previews that highlighted Captain America, Thor, and the X-Men.

According to Jeff Sneider, the fourth teaser will not feature Doctor Doom and instead centers on Wakanda and the Fantastic Four. “I am told that the fourth teaser is not Doom. I am told that the fourth teaser is the Fantastic Four and the Wakandans,” Sneider said. He added that Doctor Doom will not appear in any of the four initial teasers, with Marvel reportedly holding back the villain’s reveal for later marketing. “As far as like these first four, I am told Doom’s not in them, they are waiting,” he noted.

Rumors indicate that the teaser features Letitia Wright’s Shuri, Winston Duke’s M’Baku, Tenoch Huerta’s Namor, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach’s Ben Grimm. The teaser is expected to reportedly begin playing in theaters alongside Avatar: Fire and Ash screenings in mid-January 2026. It may also unite two of the six heroic teams in the film.

A post-credits scene from Thunderbolts* showed the Fantastic Four’s ship entering Earth-616, which may set up Ben Grimm’s arrival in or near Wakanda. Another rumor states that Doctor Doom kidnaps Franklin Richards, which forces the team to travel across the multiverse.

Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday will come out in theaters on December 18, 2026.
