Jaguars finish regular season with 13 wins, clinch AFC South title

  • January 5, 2026

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jaguars are writing a new chapter in the franchise’s history, turning around from a losing season and becoming legitimate Super Bowl contenders.

The Jaguars (13-4) won the AFC South on Sunday with a 41-7 blowout win over the Titans. The win made it official: the Jags punched their ticket to the postseason and brought playoff football back to Jacksonville.

The Jags join elite company, becoming only the third team in NFL history to leap from 13 losses to 13 wins in back-to-back seasons.

Next up, the Jags will host the Buffalo Bills this Sunday in the Wild Card round, and this matchup actually has some history.

The Jaguars faced the Bills back in 1996. The Jags have hosted the Bills twice in the playoffs and both times have come out on top.

This is the Jags’ third AFC South title, the previous years being 2017 and 2020.

Jacksonville finishes the regular season with 13 wins — something this team hasn’t done since 1999.
