PHOENIX – The Arizona State Courts Building in Phoenix reportedly was evacuated Monday after explosives were detected in the mail room.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety confirmed that it was investigating a suspicious package but declined to provide further details.
12News reported that a package sent to the building tested positive for homemade explosives.
The Arizona State Courts Building, which houses the state Supreme Court, is located near the Capitol at 15th Avenue and Washington Street.
No other details were immediately available.
