PLANO, Texas — All northbound lanes of the Dallas North Tollway are closed near Parker Road in Plano because of a police chase and crash, officials say.
The Plano Police Department said the incident is related to a chase that started in Addison. The Texas Department of Public Safety helped Addison officials in stopping the suspect vehicle, officials say.
According to the Addison Police Department, the pursuit began at about 8:30 p.m. Monday near Airport Parkway and Dallas North Tollway following the aggravated assault of a police officer during a traffic stop.
DPS troopers took over the pursuit once the suspect left Addison, police said. The chase then ended on the tollway near Parker Road in Plano.
