UT San Antonio will kick off a nomination process for the 2026 University Excellence Staff Awards on Tuesday, Jan. 6.
The annual staff awards program features nine recognition categories.

- Richard S. Howe Staff Excellence in Service to Undergraduate Students

- Order of the Roadrunner

The program requires that all nominees be full-time, benefits-eligible academic campus staff members (legacy UTSA staff). The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, Feb. 13.
The annual University Excellence Awards program recognizes the achievements of faculty and staff who make UT San Antonio an outstanding place to work. Award recipients will be announced at a ceremony on Tuesday, April 28.
The UT San Antonio health campus will celebrate outstanding employee accomplishments through its annual Presidential Excellence Awards program, following the same process used in previous years.
