SAN ANTONIO — Animal Care Services is urging the community to stop abandoning puppies on the street.

In just the past week, ACS says they found 11 two-month old puppies running around Southside Lions Park, eight five-week old puppies abandoned under a house, and a tiny puppy that was just a few weeks old left in a box behind a dumpster.

The puppies are now being cared for by ACS and preparing to find their “furever” homes.

ACS urges pet owners to consider spaying and neutering their pets to prevent unwanted litters. You can learn more about ACS’ free and low-cost spay/neuter services here.
