Look to the first-ever SoCal Pizza Week, presented by Southern California Food & Beverage, and the dozens of participating restaurants.
The week-plus chow-down-and-around will take place over Valentine’s Day, if you and your honeybun are seeking a saucier adventure.
“SoCal Pizza Week is more than an eight-day event featuring dozens of pizzerias and restaurants,” stated Leysla Rubino, organizer of the event and executive director of SoCal Food & Beverage.
“It’s an opportunity to showcase the many pizza styles that Southern California has to offer.”
Will you try to stick with one style, like Chicago or Neapolitan, during the week? Or is your goal to pick up a slice at three new-to-you spots?
Whatever your approach, you’ll be able to voice your zestiest feelings via the Golden Slice Awards, which will present one lucky place high and hardy honors. If you find your favorite pizzeria during the event, be sure to make your opinion known.
“We’re super excited to participate in this unique event as it’s the perfect chance to share our pizzeria with more pizza lovers,” said Julio Martinez, owner of Terra Mia Pizzeria.
“It’s awesome to see the Southern California community come together to support pizzerias like ours during an especially challenging time for all restaurants.”
