Police say they discovered the woman fraudulently used someone else’s identity when she was issued a Provincial Offence Notice

One person is facing charges after Sault Ste. Marie Police allege they used someone else’s identity.

Police arrested the suspect on outstanding warrants on Sunday.

Reyanna Senecal, 33, was charged with:

  • Failure to Attend Court After Having Appeared
  • Failure to Comply with Release Order – Other Than to Attend Court

Yesterday, while the accused was being held in custody pending a bail hearing, police say they discovered the suspect fraudulently used someone else’s identity when they were issued a Provincial Offence Notice in 2025.

Senecal was additionally charged with:

  • Obstruct Peace Officer
  • Personation with Intent to Avoid Arrest, Prosecution, or Obstruct Justice (Identity Fraud)

None of the allegations have been tested in court and the accused is considered innocent until proven guilty.

Senecal was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
