Crews responded to a fire Tuesday at a Dallas apartment complex and heavy smoke was visible in the area.

DALLAS — Crews responded to a fire Tuesday afternoon at an apartment complex in Far North Dallas, which resulted in heavy smoke in the area. 

A 911 caller reported fire on a first-floor balcony of the complex in the 18000 block of Lloyd Drive at about 3:30 p.m. Jan. 6, and crews found smoke and fire on the first and second floors of the building, according to Dallas Fire-Rescue. 

There were no reports of injuries as of shortly after 4 p.m. Tuesday.
