If you’ve ever been told you bear a resemblance to Chicago Bears Coach Ben Johnson, this may be your week to shine.
The Village of Bedford Park is hosting a “Coach Johnson Look-A-Like Contest” from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Wintrust Sports Complex, located at 5499 West 65th Street.
Prizes will be given for the first, second and third place winners.
The contestant who looks most like Johnson will win a $1,000 Visa gift card that can be used for post-season tickets, round trip ground transportation to or from a game, and free car washes for a year from Gas N Wash.
The second-place winner will get a $500 Visa gift card and free pizza for a year from Moretti’s. Third place gets a $300 Visa gift card.
“Fans of all ages are welcome, and encouraged to get creative,” said a flyer on the Village of Bedford Park website.
An undetermined number of door and raffle prizes will also be available, according to the Village of Bedford Park.
The event will also have a complimentary food buffet from Moretti’s and free parking. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.
The Village of Bedford Park advises those interested in attending the competition to plan to arrive early.
