SAN ANTONIO – Family and friends gathered at Angelus Funeral Home to honor Edward “Fatso” Trejo, who was fatally shot at a Christmas party.

The family expressed their hope for justice and urged an end to gun violence.

The incident occurred on Cincinnati Avenue when Paul Flores, 41, allegedly confronted Trejo and his friends over a noise complaint.

A verbal argument escalated into a physical altercation, after which Flores reportedly shot Trejo multiple times. Flores is now facing a murder charge.

Trejo’s mother, Andrea Trejo, expressed her desire to advocate against such senseless acts of violence.
