The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment but died on Tuesday, police say.

FORT WORTH, Texas — One person died after being found with a head injury in Fort Worth on Monday, according to police. 

Officers were called around 8 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 5, to the 6400 block of Normandy Road, the Fort Worth Police Department said in a press release. When officials arrived on the scene, they found a woman with a head injury. 

The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment but died on Tuesday, police say. 

Officials confirmed that no arrests have been made but believe this is an isolated incident with no threat to the community. 

Fort Worth homicide detectives are leading the investigation. 

The cause and manner of death and the victim’s identity will be released by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.
