News 5 has received letters from State of Franklin Healthcare Associates patients confirming closures at multiple locations.
According to a letter from SOFHA, Tuesday today was the final day of practice for the Highlands Family Medicine office in Johnson City.
SOFHA’s Bristol Pediatrics and Primary Care of Abingdon will also cease operations according to letters; both effective January 31st.
News 5 began reaching out to State of Franklin Healthcare Associates on December 17, 2025, after hearing about these closures. A representative acknowledged the request for comment. News 5 has not heard back since, after multiple attempts.
