The tournament is set to take place Feb. 2-8 at TPC Scottsdale.

Scheffler won the tournament in 2022 and 2023.

“Scottie has been a great champion and long-time supporter of the WM Phoenix Open and the entire community,” Tournament Chairman Jason Eisenberg said.

Scheffler is coming off a 2025 season in which he recorded six victories, including major championships at the PGA Championship and The Open Championship.

“He earned his first career PGA TOUR win here. We are excited to welcome him back to Scottsdale.  We anticipate having another incredible field of players and can’t wait to watch them tee it up in February,” Eisenberg added.
