HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A security guard was shot to death in east Houston on Wednesday evening, according to Houston police.
Police say that officers responded to the shooting at 6:16 p.m. at Connie’s Seafood in the 300 block of S. 69th near Capitol.
Police say that a man came up to the security guard, attacked him, then shot him several times, before running toward the train tracks.
Police say the victim was simply doing his job.
Police say that the suspect was captured on surveillance video and that they’re working to put out a description.
