SEATTLE — A raccoon is no worse for wear after a dumpster-diving adventure took a wrong turn, thanks to the help of the Washington State Patrol Homeland Security Division.
WSP Homeland Security was called to Colman Dock in Seattle after Washington State Ferry staff found a raccoon stuck in a garbage dumpster on the property.
Ferry staff and Homeland Security crews then devised an improvised ladder.
This creative solution allowed the raccoon to climb out and continue on its way, ensuring a happy ending to the unexpected wildlife encounter.
