A pedestrian was taken to hospital after being struck by a car in downtown St. John’s last night.
First responders rushed to the intersection of New Gower Street and Barters Hill just before 10:30 after the pedestrian was struck on the crosswalk.
They were taken to hospital for minor injuries.
RNC ticketed the driver for failing to yield for a pedestrian at a crosswalk.
