Garmin has kicked off a new year with a product refresh rather than a new device. Specifically, the company has quietly updated the Venu X1 with a third colour option dubbed ‘Soft Gold with Titanium Caseback’. Moreover, Garmin includes a matching nylon band, which it advertises as ‘French Grey’.

Functionally, the new release remains unchanged from the original black and green Venu X1 variants that debuted in June 2025 with a 7.9 mm thick housing. Thus, the Soft Gold variant boasts up to 8 days of battery life with 5 ATM water resistance and a built-in flashlight. Additionally, Garmin includes a 2-inch AMOLED display, which helps contribute to the smartwatch’s 40 g weight, including the company’s official band.

The Soft Gold variant has arrived for $699.99 to match the official prices of its Black and Moss siblings. While a $100 drop on the smartwatch’s original MSRP, the Venu X1 was available for $599.99 across the holiday season until a few days ago. Currently, the Venu X1 in Soft Gold is available from Garmin directly or can be ordered from third parties like Amazon.
