Police say there are “shacks and disused mines’ in Mid West bushland as they continue to seek the whereabout of of Kenneth Giles.
“We’ve got air wing involved, primarilty searching from above, searching for the vehicle,” he said.
“Air wing have been around since last night, so we’ve got a number of vehicles on patrol and conducting patrols of tracks.
“As you can probably appreciate out in the bush, there are a lot of places to sneak out . . .a lot of shacks and disused mines, things like that.

“We are primarily focusing around the incident site. We’re expanding from there.
Supt. Vanderplank issued a personal plea for Mr Giles to “hand himself into police” after nearly 24 hours without answers.
“This is a personal plea to Kenneth John Giles, to please hand himself into police, make himself known,” he said.
“His safety and that of the community is paramount for WA Police.”
