Police are asking for the public’s help identifying four suspects after two people were assaulted during a fight outside a Scarborough mall last week.

On Jan. 1, police got a call at 9 p.m. for an assault in the area of McCowan Road and Finch Avenue East.

A group of four people became engaged in an altercation with two people inside a restaurant at Woodside Square Mall, police said.

The altercation spilled out of the restaurant and escalated to a fight during which the two people were allegedly assaulted violently by the group.

Police said the victims sustained significant, non-life-threatening injuries.

In a news release on Thursday, police published images of four suspects, believed to be between 20 and 30 years old, and provided descriptions of them.

The first suspect is described as having short black hair and wearing eyeglasses, a black jacket and light-coloured pants. Police said the second suspect also has short black hair and was last seen wearing a dark jacket, black pants and eyeglasses.

The third suspect has long black hair and was dressed in all black clothing at the time, police said. As for the fourth suspect, she was last seen wearing a green hoodie.
