Toronto police have arrested two people in connection with a human trafficking investigation last year.
In a release, police said their Human Trafficking Unit began the investigation in Oct. 2025. It is alleged that “through a combination of deception, coercion and control,” the pair trafficked a female victim in southern Ontario.
The two suspects also created and posted online ads for sexual services, including sexualized photos, police said.
On Dec. 30, investigators located and arrested Romelle Morgan, 33, and Feza Ngongo, 21, both of Toronto.
Morgan has been charged with procuring and failing to comply with a probation order, and Ngongo was charged with trafficking in persons and advertising another person’s sexual services.
Investigators are concerned there may be more victims, and anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-4838, humantrafficking@torontopolice.on.ca, or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
