Silver Alert issued for missing 75-year-old man last seen in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Police are searching for a missing man who was last seen in San Antonio this afternoon.

The alert was issued for 75-year-old John Ledbetter, who was last seen at 12 p.m. today at the 3200 Block of Leyte St. in San Antonio.

Ledbetter is described as a 5’11 white man with brown eyes and white hair, weighing 140 lbs.

He was last seen wearing black glasses with square frames, khaki shorts, and white Nike shoes.

Police say he may be traveling in a White, 2017 Toyota Corolla with Texas license plates MJP-1192.

Law enforcement officials believe this person’s disappearance poses a credible threat to their own health and safety.
