The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said Operation Red Light targeted members of the 1200/Out East gang, and resulted in several arrests and gun seizures.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A months-long operation by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office’s Gang Unit has resulted in several arrests and the seizure of multiple drugs and nearly two dozen guns.

Operation Red Light reached its peak in November 2025, according to the sheriff’s office, when search warrants were served at several homes.

Four men were arrested as JSO says investigators specifically targeted members of a gang that’s one of around 30 active street gangs in Jacksonville, according to 2024 statistics from the sheriff’s office.

Altogether, 27-year-old Anthony Williams, 23-year-old Dasaun Williams, 23-year-old Eibe Scott, and 24-year-old Torrance Brooks were arrested on 48 charges. A majority of charges are against Anthony and Dasaun Williams, stemming from alleged drug deals with undercover officers over the course of several months.

Here’s what JSO says was seized in the operation:

  • 152.4 grams of fentanyl (equal to around 76,000+ lethal doses)
  • 1,222.1 grams of promethazine
  • 226 grams of methamphetamine
  • 115.4 grams of cocaine
  • 420.7 grams of marijuana
  • 22 guns
  • $1,190 in cash
  • Three vehicles

“This investigation took teamwork,” JSO said in a Facebook post. “Our Gang Investigations Unit worked alongside our Narcotics Unit, Crime Gun Intelligence Unit, Technical Support Unit. Computer Forensics Unit, SWAT Team, Community Problem Response Unit, and our District Task Forces. The FBI and the Clay County Sheriff’s Office assisted our teams. Gang members have no place in our city. If you’re committing crimes and violence in our community, know our Gang Investigations Unit will put a stop to it.”
