Kai Trump, the granddaughter of President Donald Trump, announced on social media that she recently had a surgical operation.
“Today, I underwent left wrist surgery to address injuries to the stabilizing tissues of my ECU tendon and damager to my triangular fibrocartilage complex,” she wrote on Instagram. “The surgery was successfully performed at the Lehigh Valley Orthopedic Institute by Dr. Thomas Graham, Chief of Jefferson Orthopedics.
“I look forward to my rehab in the coming months,” she added. “I am excited for the ability to play golf pain free!”
Fans were quick to respond with love.
“Wow!” one person wrote. “God bless and speedy recovery young lady! Gotta get back on the course.”
“Praying for you Kai,” another wrote.
“Take the time you need for a successful recovery,” another encouraged.
“What a win!” another wrote. “You’ll be back in no time.”
Trump circled back to thank her followers for the support in the comments.
Trump plays golf at the Benjamin School in Florida and has committed to play at the University of Miami. She played in her first LPGA event back in November at the Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida, but it didn’t go well. She finished 108th out of 108 players.
The surgery was part of a big week for Trump as she also shared a photo of herself with Logan Paul and Mike Majlak and announced that she had just taken part in the “IMPAULSIVE” podcast.
“This was such a fun experience,” she wrote on Instagram. “Thank you, Logan and Mike, for having me!”
