Traffic Will Be Limited Between Clifton Way and Gregory Way Beginning January 10

Traffic restrictions are scheduled to begin this weekend along southbound La Cienega Boulevard as crews start construction of a new bus pad and make curb and gutter improvements, transportation officials said.

Construction is set to begin at 4:00 a.m. Saturday, January 10, and is expected to continue for approximately three weeks. During that time, southbound La Cienega Boulevard will be reduced to two lanes between Clifton Way and Gregory Way, with intermittent reductions to a single lane. The work is scheduled to continue through January 24, 2026, though officials said the timeline could be extended by up to one additional week if delays occur.

Southbound La Cienega Boulevard will be intermittently reduced to one lane between Clifton Way and Gregory Way during the following hours:

  • 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
  • 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday

In addition, southbound traffic will be reduced to two lanes on a continuous basis for approximately two to three weeks, pending final approval from the City of Beverly Hills.

The construction area is located near the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and La Cienega Boulevard.

Officials said local access will be maintained on westbound Wilshire Boulevard between San Vicente Boulevard and La Cienega Boulevard throughout the construction period. All work has received the necessary permits and approvals.

Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time and consider alternate routes during peak hours. Construction schedules remain subject to change based on operational needs.
