Re “Balboa Park parking fees bring surprise, confusion” (Jan. 6): What is it about the word “no” that Mayor Todd Gloria and most of the City Council do not comprehend? The people and businesses of San Diego do not want charging for Balboa Park, zoo and beach parking.
We voted for these guys and their obligation is to fulfill our wishes. They have mismanaged the budget for the city and now we have to pay for their failures (101 Ash Street, etc.). We do not hear anything about tightening expenses or cutting back on personnel.
It is time for a change in city government. We need a government that listens to the people!
