PHOENIX (AZFamily) — We hit 39 degrees this morning, which is the coolest temperature at Sky Harbor since Jan. 23 of last year.
After hitting the mid-60s this afternoon, we will soon be going back to the 70s!
Mostly clear skies tonight with lows falling into the low 40s by early Sunday morning. The high temperature on Sunday afternoon should reach 70. Breezes will start to pick up Sunday morning into the afternoon. Gusts of 25-30 mph are possible in the Phoenix metro area.
There is a wind advisory from 5 a.m. Sunday to 2 p.m. Sunday for the higher terrain east of Phoenix into southeast Arizona, where gusts up to 45 mph are possible. This includes Apache Junction, Globe/Miami, and Tucson. Blowing dust and brief reductions in visibility are possible.
Monday and Tuesday will be mild, with highs in the low 70s, but mid- to upper-70s are possible by Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Mornings will sit in the mid-40s Monday and Tuesday, but increase to the upper 40s to around 50 by the end of the week. Next Saturday looks pleasant with the upper 40s in the morning and mid-70s by the afternoon.
