A Cypress-area teen is in critical condition after a shooting, prompting an investigation by Harris County detectives to uncover the incident’s cause.
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A teen is in critical condition after being shot in a Cypress-area neighborhood park, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said.
The shooting happened off Westgate Park Drive near Barker Cypress in west Harris County.
Sheriff Gonzalez said that the teen, possibly 16 years old, was transported to the hospital by Life Flight sometime after 1:30 p.m.
@HCSOTexas deputies responded to a call for service at the 18200 block of Westgate Park Drive.
