When a cow is expecting, both the herd and the humans who care for her eagerly watch and wait for the new baby to arrive. Hot Mess Ranch had been counting down the days for their cow, Rita, to give birth, and when farmer Steven Purcell headed out to the pasture and realized the moment had finally come, he was just as excited as she was!
Make sure your sound is on as Steven meets the newborn, because Mama Rita has a lot to say about it, and so does he. You can tell they’re both thrilled about the new arrival, and Rita wastes no time getting her baby cleaned up. It’s one of the cutest things you’ll watch today!
Steven said in the caption, “We are very excited to announce that Rita had her baby calf!!! The wait is finally over!” We’re so glad he was able to share the sweet moment with the rest of us!
