The Association of Performing Arts Professionals is a nonprofit organization that supports professionals in the performing arts sector, including presenting, booking, and touring. With 1,700 members worldwide, APAP also hosts an annual APAP|NYC conference: a world-leading performing arts gathering and marketplace held in New York City.
APAP is currently hosting this conference between January 9 and 13. APAP|NYC 2026 brings together 3,000+ artists, agents, bookers, and presenters to launch new work, share resources, and kick off the year’s touring cycle.
Events take place at New York’s Hilton Midtown and across hundreds of venues in Manhattan. A 50,000-square-foot EXPO Hall space features over 300 exhibitors.
This year, discussions and talks will focus on arts advocacy, thriving by design, the art of belonging, and the creative edge. Different showcases will introduce new works and emerging artists to the presenters who help bring them to stages nationwide.
