A large police presence was reported in a southern Fort Worth neighborhood.
FORT WORTH, Texas — A large police presence is responding to a shots-fired call in a south Fort Worth neighborhood, officials said.
Officers responded around 5:52 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 11, in the 1200 block of West Bewick Street, according to a press release from the Fort Worth Police Department.
Officers were actively working on the scene around 10 a.m., according to a press release from the Fort Worth Police Department.
According to WFAA crews on the scene, SWAT officers and command staff were responding to the incident.
It’s unclear exactly what officers are responding to, or when the scene may be clear.
