Smorgasburg LA has returned after a brief hiatus, hosting a 2026 grand re-opening on Jan. 11 that featured thirteen new food vendors.

Over the years, the January grand reopening has been a launching point for vendors who’ve not just gone on to become staples of the market, but also well known businesses in Los Angeles’ world renowned food scene. Past January classes have included Miya Miya Shawarma, Softies, All About the Cinnamon, Chimmilier, Bridgetown Roti, Holy Basil and Lei’d Cookies.

This year continues that tradition with a wide-ranging lineup of new flavors, cuisines and concepts. This long-standing tradition is extra significant this year, as Smorgasburg prepares to celebrate its 10th Anniversary in Los Angeles at ROW DTLA.

Smorgasburg LA is free to enter and features free parking for the first two hours.

Meet the new class of the 2026 season (in alphabetical order) joining returning vendors:

Banana Mama: Banana Mama is a handcrafted dessert brand reimagining a southern soul food classic with an Asian twist. Their signature pudding is light, whipped, and irresistibly scoopable — made fresh in small batches with rotating flavors inspired by nostalgic Asian treats and modern cravings alike, including flavors like Ca Phe Sua Da (Vietnamese iced coffee banana pudding), Turon Crunch (inspired by Filipino banana lumpia), Matcha, and a classic Vanilla Bean OG, made with real banana slices, fluffy whipped pudding, and buttery vanilla wafers.

Barranco’s Yogurt: A 13-year-old family-owned business that began in the streets of East LA and Boyle Heights, Barranco’s Yogurt was among the first to introduce Oaxaca-inspired fruit yogurt to Los Angeles. Their yogurt starts with a creamy homemade yogurt base combined with wheat berries and fresh fruit, and finished with amaranth granola, pecans and honey.

Franzl’s Franks: Inspired by his favorite late night Käsekrainer bratwurst stand behind the Vienna Opera House, amateur opera singer Patrick Murray started Franzl’s Franks to bring the iconic snappy, cheese-filled sausages stuffed inside a toasted baguette, to Los Angeles alongside pretzels and classic Austrian sweets. Drawing from Viennese street-food tradition and queer performance culture, the booth turns a casual bite into a bold, theatrical moment. It is gourmet comfort food with pipes, personality, and a motto that says it all: Sausages That Serrrve.

Hot Grease: A Southern-style fried fish pop-up celebrating Black American history and the traditions chef/owner Asha Starks’ family, Hot Grease carried to Southern California during the Great Migration. Hot Grease is known for its crispy buttermilk fried snapper, thick-cut seasoned fries and small-batch sauces (like their “Ill Dill”, which’ll have you proclaiming your newfound love for tartar sauce). Guided by her community organizing roots, Starks honors the fish fry as a historic site of mutual aid; directing 3% of every sale to The Potlikker Line, Hot Grease’s reproductive justice mutual-aid fund. Asha’s brother is the owner of Stick Talk, another of Smorgasburg’s new vendors for 2026.

Mamani Pizza: Mamani Pizza is a Los Angeles-based pizza pop-up founded by Grammy-nominated, multiplatinum record producer, Farsi. Born from a pizza oven parked just outside his recording studio, what started as late night pies for friends, producers and artists quickly became one of LA’s most talked about underground pizza stops. Rooted in clean and simple ingredients, quality sourcing, and a fusion of classic Neapolitan tradition with Persian inspired creativity, Mamani brings studio-born energy and serious flavor to every pie.

Melnificent Wings: Fresh off their stand-out pop up inside of Maydan Market, Chef Melissa Cottingham brings her flavor-forward, globally inspired gourmet chicken wings to Smorgasburg for 2026. Through careful brining techniques, authentic spice blends, and creative culinary storytelling, they deliver wings that are infused with tradition, innovation, and soul — alongside a fried chicken biscuit that is an absolute must-order.

Piruchi: Piruchi is a Los Angeles–based food truck reinterpreting Peruvian street food through a modern, multicultural lens. Their Smorgasburg menu highlights a rotating lineup of sandwiches, including their signature chicharrón with sweet potato, a Chinese-Peruvian char siu that reflects Peru’s immigrant history, and a vegan portobello sandwich with house-made Ajinut sauce that blends aji amarillo and peanut butter.

RuRu’s Golden Tea: RuRu’s is a mobile trailer selling a twist on Karak chai (black tea base with saffron spice) offering hot and iced options with different unique cold foam options inspired by Middle Eastern and South Asian flavors (Mastic, Orange Blossom, Ube).

Souu LA: Fresh off successful pop ups at Smorgasburg’s Festival of Tea in December, and AAPI Day back in May, this brand new Taiwanese concept featuring breakfast during the day and sizzling steak at night, will be opening in Chinatown later this spring next to Steep LA. Until then, they’ll be at Smorgasburg serving up their delicious fan tuan, danbing and soy milk.

Stick Talk: This is Smorgasburg’s newest plant-based concept, serving county fair style corn dogs that focus on bold flavor, quality ingredients and delivering a nostalgic experience. Coming in both regular and spicy versions, the corn bread batter is like nothing you’ve ever tasted before- and will make you not even care that it’s Vegan. Fun fact: The owner is the brother of Hot Grease’s owner, another of Smorgasburg’s new vendors for 2026.

Terrible Burger: a Long Beach based pop-up run by a husband-and-wife duo cranking out genre bending burgers with a unique twist on classic flavors. Following recognition at LAist’s Tournament of Cheeseburgers and a successful stint in our Smorgasburger Stand, they follow in the footsteps of Love Hour and Softies as Smorgasburg’s latest full-time burger vendor.

Unreal Poke: Following back-to-back massively popular pop-ups at Smorgasburg’s AAPI Day, Unreal Poke finally joins the market full time, bringing their poke bowls and inari bombs to DTLA every single Sunday. Run by a native of the Big Island, Unreal Poke goes beyond serving great food — they focus on showcasing authentic Hawaiian flavors while celebrating the roots of poke and its significance in Hawaiian cuisine.

Zindrew Dumpling Shop: After a year of selling their jars of chili crisp in our center shopping aisle, Zindrew brings their wonton shop to Smorgasburg as a full-time food vendor. Try their menu of wontons and noodles in spicy chili oil, alongside side dishes like cucumber salad.
