Fort Worth-based accounting firm JTaylor has promoted Matt Riesen to partner in its Consulting Services division, the firm announced.
“We are incredibly fortunate to have Matt joining our partner group,” Managing Partner Michael Malloy said in a statement. “He leads highly complex engagements and advises clients on a variety of fronts, with a steady and stable approach that makes him a favorite of both our clients and our team.”
Riesen, a CPA, joined JTaylor in 2018 after beginning his career with KPMG. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Accountancy from TCU. His consulting experience includes transaction due diligence, business enterprise valuations, and fair market value assessments, with a focus on the healthcare industry. He also has assisted clients with managed care contracting.
Within the firm, Riesen has taken on leadership roles in recruiting and performance management.
“I am honored for the promotion to partner and grateful for the trust the firm has placed in me,” Riesen said. “It’s been a joy to work with such talented individuals at JTaylor, and I look forward to continuing to provide excellent service to our clients as well as developing the next generation of leaders within our firm.”
Riesen is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is also active in TCU’s Neeley Fellows alumni mentorship programs and is involved with the Golden Retriever Rescue Society of North Texas.
