SAN ANTONIO — Secretary of War Pete Hegseth is making several stops in Texas on Monday, including the Alamo City.
Secretary Hegseth joined Senator John Cornyn this morning to visit recovering troops at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) who were wounded in Operation Absolute Resolve.
Hegseth is also making stops in Brownsville and Fort Worth. He is set to visit Space-X and Lockheed Martin as part of what the administration calls its “Arsenal of Freedom” tour.
The secretary is expected to deliver remarks to company leaders and employees at SpaceX alongside founder Elon Musk, and administer the Oath of Enlistment to new military recruits.
Officials say the visit is focused on strengthening the nation’s defense manufacturing base and ensuring U.S. Warfighters have access to advanced, American-made equipment.
